Теннисная серия турниров ITF в Харькове

Борьба начинается с квалификационных матчей. На места в основной сетке претендует 33 теннисистки. Три дня они будут сражаться возможность претендовать на победу в турнире. Всего участниц будет 32.

Кроме украинок, в Харьков на первый турнир съехались девушки из Австрии, Турции, Белоруссии, Казахстана, Узбекистана и России. На второй, который стартует 20 августа, собираются спортсменки из Греции, Румынии, Боснии и Герцеговины, Франции, Грузии, Германии, Австрии и даже из Нигерии.
Главный рефери соревнований — судья мирового уровня литовец Йонас Дагис. Он говорит, что эти турниры — для профессиональных теннисистов, как начальная школа — для каждого из нас.

«На таких турнирах многие игроки получают свои очки в мировом рейтинге. Фактически на каждом таком турнире обычно присутствует игрок, о котором мы потом обязательно услышим. Все теннисисты, которые сейчас в десятке, участвовали в таких турнирах», — поясняет рефери.

Матчи будут идти практически в режиме нон-стоп: каждый день с 10.00 до 20.00.

Зачет — одиночный и парный.
Для зрителей вход — свободный.
